The 8-day desert circuit will start in Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco, where you will discover the treasures of this city steeped in history. After this cultural immersion, you will cross the beautiful mountains of the Middle Atlas, passing through the charming towns of Ifrane, Azrou and Midelt. Your journey will then take you to the gates of the desert, to Merzouga, where an unforgettable camel ride on the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi awaits you. The day will end with a magical night in a nomadic tent, preceded by dinner and an evening in the colors of local traditions.

The journey will continue by exploring the green oases, authentic villages and kasbahs, as well as the majestic gorges of Todgha and Dades, which offer breathtaking panoramas. After the Ouarzazate stage, you will visit the famous Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before crossing the spectacular landscapes of the High Atlas. Your adventure will end in Marrakech, a mythical city with universal charm. Be enchanted by its vibrant medina, the famous Djemaa el-Fna square, lush gardens and iconic monuments such as the majestic Koutoubia and the splendid Bahia Palace.

Day 1 - Fez / Arrival

Pick up at the airport of Fez-Saiss, and transfer to hotel / riad in the heart of the medina of Fes. Depending on the time of arrival, possibility to have a first contact with Fes by a visit of the Medina. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel / riad.

Day 2 - Fez

A full day to discover the first capital of Morocco, imperial and spiritual city of the kingdom. Visit the medina; discover the many jewels and famous places: Medersas (Quranic schools) El Bouanania, Sahrij, Attarin, the souks, the mosque El Qarawiyin (first university in the world), Fes El Jadid (new city).

Day 3 - Fez - Midelt - Azrou - The Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast we leave Fez for the desert of Merzouga. On the road in the mountains of the Middle Atlas, we will cross Ifrane, then through the cedar forest of Azrou which is home to monkey monkeys, and where you will have the opportunity to stop for a photo shoot. Lunch in the Berber village of Zaida, and continue the crossing of the Middle Atlas through the beautiful landscapes around the city of Midelt famous for its apples, to the small town of Rich, before Erfoud, capital of Tafilalet and fossils, where it is good to feel the air of the Sahara in this immense oasis of Tafilalet. Arrival in Merzouga, after a relaxing moment, you will reach the Erg Chebbi on dromedary, where after a hike on the sand dunes, you will spend an evening- typical Berber dinner under the stars at the foot of the Erg before spending the night in the nomad tent.

Day 4 - Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud Fossils - Todgha Gorge - Dades Valley - Dades Gorge

We will get up early to admire a spectacular sunrise, after breakfast we will return to Merzouga on dromedary before heading to Rissani, and visit the largest market in the whole region. We will continue to Erfoud where you can visit the marble fossil factory. Then, we cross the palm grove of Touroug and Tinijda to the gorges of Todgha with very steep high walls, very popular with climbers. We will have lunch there and make our way through the gorges, before continuing towards the valley of Dades near the gorges of Dades. Dinner and overnight at hotel / guesthouse.

Day 5 - Dadès Gorges - Valley of the Roses - Skoura - Ouarzazate

Departure from the beautiful gorges of Dadès, known for their spectacular cliffs and lush valleys. Stop on the way to Boumalne Dades to explore the local market and enjoy a mint tea. Continue through the picturesque Valley of the Roses, at the foot of the High Atlas, famous for its fields of the famous rose of Damascus imported by pilgrims a thousand years ago, then visit the peaceful oasis of Skoura before reaching Ouarzazate, the "Door of the Sahara", known for its cultural richness and film production. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 6 - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - High Atlas - Marrakech

Visit of the Kasbah of Taourit in Ouarzazate, former residence of the pacha Glaoui. Continuation of the trip to Ait Benhaddou, where we will visit the famous Kasbah, declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1986, and where many great films have been shot as Gladiator, The Mummy, Obelix, The Jewel of the Nile, etc... Lunch freely, and return to Marrakech, through the famous Tizi N'Tichka pass culminating at 2260 meters in the High Atlas mountains. The trip will be punctuated with stops to admire breathtaking panoramas and for photo shoots. Arrival in Marrakech at 18:00, dinner and overnight at the hotel / riad.

Day 7 - Marrakech

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the pearl of southern Morocco. You will visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and many other treasures of the imperial city. After lunch, you will continue the visit of the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna Square, one of the biggest attractions in the center of Marrakech, where shows are provided by musicians, dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, merchants and snake charmers, etc ... among the stands of restaurateurs and those of fruit juice sellers. The visit will end with an exploration of the colorful and lively souk (market) where spices and aromatic plants, handicrafts, carpets, pottery, leather goods, and so many other beautiful objects testifying to Moroccan skill and know-how are exhibited. Dinner and overnight at the hotel / riad
