Your 4-day desert tour from Marrakech will start with your private driver-guide meeting you at your hotel and taking you on the backseat of a comfortable air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle or minibus. You will soon leave Marrakech behind, and the road will lead you into the High Atlas Mountains, passing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and along views with photo stops.

You will then travel down towards the south, amidst fortified villages and on the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs (part of the Royal Road). You will make stops in traditional Berber villages and also visit the Todra Gorges. This is one of Morocco’s most impressive natural sites, with sheer cliffs towering over the road. You will then pass by palm groves in Tinghir and then Dades Valley where you’ll have time to stretch your legs with some short walks and exploration.

On day three, you will continue towards Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Your group will ride a camel through the desert at sunset, an absolute highlight in the Sahara! You will return to your campsite for mint tea, a dinner, and music by the fire before sleeping in a desert tent under the stars. Day four takes you back to Marrakech by a different route, which passes through the green Agdz oasis and then along the Draa Valley filled with date palms and kasbahs. You will return to Marrakech in the evening.
